Funding of the FCP role • NHSE model recommends 1 FTE FCP per PCN. • Eligible for 70% reimbursement from April 2020. • The Alliance is offering to fund the remaining 30% in commitment to a system approach to improve the MSK pathway. • By 2024 NHSE’s aim is to have access to 3 FCP’s per PCN. • Commitment to developing long-term FCP workforce.
