Extra Curricular Activities �We offer extra curricular programs that 7 th and 8 th graders can apply to get into. �Examples are: �P. A. L. S. �National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) �Student Council �Math Counts �UIL participation in band, orchestra, and choir
Titanic Day All 6 th graders participate in Titanic Day. Students research facts about the Titanic and eventually dress up as a character from the Titanic.
Kite Day Another activity for 6 th graders is Kite Day. 6 th graders spend the entire day designing and flying their kite.
Texana Day This is our in house field trip for all 7 th graders. Students are visited by Cowboys, Texas Speakers and Farmers.
Career Day is a chance for 8 th grade students to hear speakers from different types of careers.
Beach Bash is our 8 th grade end of year party. All 8 th graders are eligible to take a trip to Schlitterbahn in Galveston.
School Dances First Colony has two school dances each year. The dance has food, games and a live D. J. Students have a wonderful time!
