PR & Communication on Standardization • Basically it is easy …

PR & Communication on Standardization • Basically it is easy … BUT • In practise it is difficult !

PR & Communication on Standardization • We have a ”Communication problem”: – limited resources available – broad range of topics to cover – dull reputation – standardization is only noted when something does not work!? – vs. target group expectations: ”What’s in this for me? ”

Dealing with the ”Communication problem” • Communication is important –> direct links to Strategy & Goals • Limited resources -> prioritized target groups » Industry decision makers » public sector decision makers • Limited resources -> key messages to target groups » consistency » benefits • Think twice -> Think four times!! » » what to whom why how

PR Roundtable 6. -7. 9. 2012 • PR Roundtable offers a good way to find solutions and best practises to deal with Communication and PR! • I wish you succesful and productive two days in Helsinki!
