Criteria for the selection of artists in Finland • The main objective is to present a new perspective on the northern Finnish art from that period • The selection of artists has been affected by their activities in the Barents region during this period • The selection of artists has also affected their conscious choice to do non-traditional art from the north • Both sexes are represented in the exhibition tour
