Fingerprint Poetry • A fingerprint is a very personal thing that can show unique a person is. • Fingerprint poetry plays on the shape of a fingerprint by twisting the lines you write into that shape. • Your fingerprint poetry will be DUE MONDAY!

What does it look like from beginning to end? • Talk about your dreams and plans for the future. How will you live your life? How do you want to be remembered? What will be your legacy or ‘mark’ on the world? • What are you most proud of? • Do you have any special abilities or talents? • What would a ‘perfect’ life look like to you? Share your fantasy. • If you could go back and change one thing in the past, what you would do and why? • If you had an infinite amount of time and/or money, how would you use it? • What are your core beliefs? What matters most in life?

Open Mic Presentations • This performance is REQUIRED on MONDAY/TUESDAY. (55 Points!!) • You must perform 1 original poem written by you in a performance that is approx. 1 minute in length. • You can receive 35 pts. of EXTRA CREDIT if you perform a 2 nd poem written by you. • If you want to earn extra credit, you must sign up IN ADVANCE! (there will be no extra credit given the day of performances unless you previously signed up!) • It doesn’t matter how much you whine!

You will be graded on: SPEECH • Posture- stand up straight, don’t sway •
