What is EFMS? Enterprise Financial Management Solution An ERP Solution that will consolidate financial systems across the Enterprise and streamline financial business processes. 2
EFMS Project Goals and Objectives Our top priority is profitable growth. To achieve this Finance must increase overall management capability while meeting emerging business needs through: 1 Technology Consolidation 2 Standardized Processes and Controls • Replace GEAC, Sage, JDE and Longview with one financial system. • Centralize and standardize processes and reporting across the enterprise. • Standardize chart of accounts. • Speed to close. • Avoid future time-intensive upgrades and system maintenance. • Automate processes to enhance controls, segregation of duties, security and minimize risk of errors. • Improve efficiencies and timeliness for payments. 3 Data Accuracy and Enhanced Reporting • Increase access to data with improved dimensionality and analytic capabilities to execute the enterprise strategy. • Enable cross functional, fully integrated data (e. g. financial, HR, planning, operational, etc. ) • Allow for improved scalability. • Increase self-service capabilities of business users and reduce the reliance on IT support. 3
