Filter specs: definition Definition of Filtration Efficiency è For BOSCH FIE filtration efficiency is defined according to the prestandard ISO/TR 13353: 1994. Required filtration efficiency depends on application, expected fuel contamination and required life time (see following slides). For specific values see corresponding TCI è In the meantime the standard ISO/TS 13353: 2002 has become valid. Main difference to the pre-standard is the calibration procedure è (ISO 11 171 instead ISO 4402). This requires an adaptation of the present values. The correlation is presently under preparation. è The International Standard Organization is working on a new multipass method (ISO/DIS 19438) which should substitute ISO/TS 13353 in a few years 5. 1 © Robert Bosch Gmb.
