Everything changes when three strange beings from the cosmos – Mrs. Who, Mrs. Which and Mrs. Whatsit – land in her back garden and take her, Charles Wallace and a boy from school on an incredible journey across the universe to find her father. Discussion points 1. Why are Meg and Charles Wallace made fun of in school? Do you think it’s fair? 2. Did Charles Wallace predict The Mrs were coming to visit them? What signs were there at the beginning of the film that suggested they were coming? 3. What is Meg’s personality like at the beginning of the film and how does her character change? Give examples of challenges she faces and overcomes. 4. Uriel and Camazotz are almost completely opposite. Describe how the two universes differ, considering colour and sound.
