Onomatopoeia • Naming a thing or an action by a sound associated with it • Example: Buzzzz! Hiss. Roar. Wuff! • Can you come up with your own examples?
Personification • Giving non humans (animals, places, objects) humanlike traits. • The teddy bear smiled as the little girl hugged him close. • Can you come up with your own examples?
