FHS Uniform Reminder: expectations reiterated

Uniform Reminder: • Our uniform is a representation of our school community. • The school uniform policy hasn’t changed. • All members of staff (not just teachers) will question your uniform and promote the policy. • It is important that if your uniform isn’t appropriate, you go to the Year Team offices on the 3 rd and 4 th floors to swap items.

FHS Uniform Policy:

Non negotiables: Consequences of the non negotiables: You will need to go the 3 rd or 4 th floor offices to swap items. Items will need to be removed immediately. Piercings will need to be covered and then removed or removed immediately.

Changes to headphones: • Headphones can only be worn or be visible at break and lunch times when on the ground floor only. • If headphones are visible when on any other corridor/floor they will be confiscated by any member of staff. • When you are in a club, the member of staff must give you permission to wear headphones. They must not be visible while you are waiting to enter the club or when you leave the club.

Uniform Reminder: • Should you wish to buy an item of uniform please discuss with your AC or AM. • You now have 1 week to rectify your uniform. • Sanctions and meetings with parents/carer’s will ensue after the week grace period. • Yellow slips will only be issued by ACs/AMs. Thank you.

FHS 2020 Pledge… The mission is to go plastic bottle free! - Additional water fountains will be installed. - A faster water system will also be introduced in the canteen. - Reusable bottles will be available for students. - The FHS Eco Team are actively involved! Currently: - The canteen use Vegware cutlery and take away boxes. - Food products are locally sourced. - Plastic bottles are made from recycled material.
