Snow Disruption Summary § Flagstaff was shut down (all major highways had some level of closure from 24 hours to 8 days), and the airport was closed for over 48 hours § Some food, energy, and water systems were impacted, none of severe nature, but ran right up to the edge § Some individuals needed medical assistance, there was mild flooding in the subsequent snowmelt, there were many added costs due to closures and snow removal § This event gave some unofficial measurements of Flagstaff’s urban metabolism Sean Ryan/ F 4 R Project Coordinator June 4, 2019 16
