Why is feminism essential? ◦ Feminism is important because it puts a standing on why women should be seen the same and be equal. ◦ Some of the most powerful women are great leaders and helping our society. Women have made such positive impacts on our society this far. ◦ There have been votes and laws passed that have positive impacts and this is because of some of the positive women.

When did the talk of feminism start? ◦ It started in 1848 when women had enough and wanted to address barriers ◦ Unsuccessful for 2 years ◦ After 70 years of trying to be successful they were able to vote
