Koilocytosis: cytoplasmic halo with elongated contracted nuclei (mulberry), this lesion due to HPV (subtypes 16, 18). Koilocytosis can regard as a part of CIN-I

CIN-I : dysplastic changes (nuclear atypia) limited to lower third of squamous epithelium associated with koilocytosis & normal squamous differentiation of upper two thirds. CIN-II: dysplastic changes limited to the lower squamous epithelium with normal upper third of squamous epithelium. CIN-III: Full thickness dysplasia (carcinoma in situ)

Invasive carcinoma of cervix Both pictures are gross appearance of cervical invasive carcinoma (fungating mass involving most of cervix)
