No. 3 Minutes Action Taken Large number of migration of members especially in the MPG category is alarming and the Regional and Chapter heads should talk to each of the exporters opting out of the FIEO membership and record their cause of resignation in the file. Coimbatore Chapter : Members are requested to mention the reason for resignation in their letter. Hyderabad Chapter : Calls made to members who were not renewing membership and their cause for not renewing has been recorded in the respective member files. Kerala Chapter : By adopting and following up the process as instructed the Chapter has achieved more than 95% renewal for the FY 2014 -2015.

No. 3 Minutes Action Taken Large number of migration of members especially in the MPG category is alarming and the Regional and Chapter heads should talk to each of the exporters opting out of the FIEO membership and record their cause of resignation in the file. Karnataka Chapter: During follow up of members for Renewal, feedback received is that they have registered with other EPC and would want to continue with them, as they are product specific, though they are merchant exporters. A few have stated that due to no exports they would renew when need arise. Such exporters are also asked for reasons over emails with reasons, which are filed SR : Personally such exporters are spoken to and also official is sent to meet them personally. In most of the cases reason cited is “no business”.

Large number of migration of members especially in the MPG category is alarming and the Regional and Chapter heads should talk to each of the exporters opting out of the FIEO membership and record their cause of resignation in the file. Action Taken ER : (i) Most resignations are because they have no exports or have wound up their export business. Under the circumstances, even speaking to them has not helped. (ii) DGFT offices have been asking for RCMC from the relevant councils even in case of MPG, for issuance of licenses. The cases taken up on a one to one basis with office of DGFT Kolkata, by asking the exporter to submit a self declaration that their main line of business is not discernible. Kanpur chapter: A few negligible cases were found. Exporters were contacted and compliance reported. NR : Efforts made and 838 new members admitted in MPG category

No. Minutes 4 Stiff selection process needs to be followed for aligning with any private company to organize joint FIEO domestic or international events. All officers to be very careful. Action Taken All Officials. ER : All joint events are organised with well known companies and organizations. For international events FIEO ER has selected agents/organizations based on the recommendations of the Indian Embassies/consulates. No Minutes Action Taken 6 Delayed receipt of payment on account of MAI/MDA from the Dept. of Commerce is resulting in loss upto Rs. 15 lakhs per annum. All officials organizing international events should ensure that “Utilisation Certificates” are submitted to the Dept. of Commerce within one month’s time from the conclusion of an event. MDA division at HO should ensure that payment is realized within next one month’s time post submission. ER: “Utilisation certificates” for international events submitted on time. As per letter dated 4 June 2015, ER has been informed that MDA will not be available for FIEO events. MRD : Utilisation certificates of the events are submitted well within the prescribed limit of the department. SR : “Utilisation Certificates” submitted as soon as all information is available.

In the absence of all India event calendar he was not been able to organize sponsorship for FIEO’s events. All Regional and Chapter offices to send their event calendar for the next quarter by December 15, 2014. Coimbatore Chapter : Calendar of events submitted to SR Hyderabad Chapter : Event Calendar for the Quarter was submitted on 18. 12. 2014 Karnataka Chapter: The programmes for the Last quarter was sent to FIEO Sr on 17 th Dec, 2015 Kerala Chapter : The Chapter has managed to organize sessions with ebay, Dun & Brad Street, Federal Bank, State Bank of Travancore, Canara Bank, YES Bank, IDBI Bank and with various District Industries Centers with the financial assistance provided from them. SR : Quarterly Action Plan is prepared after getting approval from Regional Chairman.

Kanpur Chapter: Compliance made 8 Structured training of officers and staff is very important to ensure quality delivery of services. The Policy and Personnel departments to jointly work out one week training programme for FIEO officers and staff. NR : Meetings/Seminars/Workshops were organised by NR on self-financing basis within the limited budget. Personnel & Policy Department: It was difficult to relieve officers and staff for full one week and accordingly the Personnel & Policy Division worked out training programme as per schedule attached.

NE chapter head to list the bottlenecks the exporters in NE are facing towards exporting floriculture. Action Taken Major issue of the exporters of the landlocked North East states is transportation of goods. Even though the region is strategically located with access to and at a vantage entry point for the South. East Asian Markets, still the exporters has to transport their goods to Kolkata for the goods to be exported. Presumably this is related to a larger issue to be addressed which is overall infrastructure development of the region. As regards Floriculture, the major bottleneck is unavailability of necessary cold chain. There is no cold storage facility available in the airports of the region. Flowers being perishable it becomes nearly impossible to
