FY 2003 FPDS New Agency Reporting Responsibilities GSA no longer able to perform corrections to agency data Agencies will be asked to make their own corrections for the remainder of FY 2003 No change for agencies using current web interface

New Procedures (Upload Records) Go to the FPDC web page and click on the button to “submit agency batch data. ” You will be sent to ftp: //www. FPDC. gov. Double-click on “Uploads” folder. Drag and drop (or copy and paste) the file you wish to upload onto the upload page and then close the page.

New Procedures (Loading Results) GSA server sends email with loading results – “ 0” errors, you are done - OR – ICAR. log file describes format errors Correct your format errors and resubmit

New Procedures (Process Records) GSA server automatically processes your loaded records GSA sends 2 nd email with record validation results Records that pass validation are now in FPDS database Records that fail must be corrected

New Process (Correct Validation Errors) GSA email returns failed records Correct your records – Http: //www. FPDC. gov/fpdc_home. htm; click on "ICAR Error Report” which describes each error; correct file - OR – Http: //www. FPDC. gov/fpdc_home. htm; click on “ICAR Error Update", and correct records containing errors online - OR – Export the file that was attached to your email into your own software in order to make the corrections
