Feast of Passover • Passover is a one-day event … it is followed by the 7 -day Feast of Unleavened Bread – the Feast of Firstfruits is celebrated on Day 3. • It commemorates and celebrates God’s deliverance of Israel out of slavery in the land of Egypt (Exodus 12: 14).

Feast of Passover • The Lord sent Moses to lead the people out of bondage in Egypt to the promised land. • When first confronted by Moses, Pharaoh refused to let the people go. • Nine plagues later – blood, frogs, gnats, flies, livestock, boils, hail, locusts, darkness – he still would not relent. • “But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart …” (Exodus 10: 27)
