District 5 I-75 Northbound ESU • I-75 ESU extends Northbound from SR-44 in Sumter County Northward to the Florida/Georgia State line • D 5’s portion of the ESU extends 42 miles from SR-44 Northward to the Marion/Alachua County line

District 5 I-75 Northbound ESU D 5’s I-75 ESU Details: • Starts @ MM 331. 47 and Ends @ MM 373. 74 = (42. 27 Miles) • 1 Stationary Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) placed prior to ESU start @ MM 330. 87 • • 2 Patrolling Emergency Assistance Vehicles • 2 Dynamic Message Signs (DMS’s) will display a static message unless traffic incident management messages take precedence • No Ramp Closures are planned 6 Interchanges 1 Weigh Station that will be closed @ MM 338 1 Rest Area that will remain open @ MM 345 No Pinch Points or Narrow Shoulder Locations All Permanent Flip Signs have been Installed 2 Portable Changeable Message Signs (PCMS’s) will be deployed per plan

I-75 ESU Implementation Forces • • District 5 will utilize Dbi Services to implement the ESU with their forces • Dbi Services is equipped to provide Roadside Assistant Services to Stranded Motorists • Dbi Services procured and installed the ESU signage and has 26 PCMS’s available for deployment with only 2 needed for D 5’s ESU portion DBi Services assisted with the development and review of the Standard Operating Procedures to establish timelines for ESU setup and breakdown

Motorist Support • Road Ranger Services • FHP Wrecker Rotation • Pre-Event Emergency Roadside Assistance Services Contract • • • Anticipated contract execution August 2017 • Dispatch will be done via the Traffic Management Center and Staging EAVs Assist motorists with minor repairs (< 15 min. ) and 2 gallons of fuel Move inoperable vehicles by pushing or relocating vehicles to roadside or staging areas

Coordination with District 2 • Working from south to north, asset maintenance contractor shall implement ESU within 4 hours after order has been given and will coordinate their placements and timing of VCMSs with District 2.
