Introduction Feng Chia University • History The founder of Merry Electronics Co. Ltd, a leading company in the electroacoustics industry, is Lu-Li Liao: Introduction Curriculum Structure Characteristics Research Specialties Electro-acoustic Equipment He was worried that there were no specialized programs to cultivate electro -acoustics talent. Therefore he gave a generous donation to Feng Chia University to nurture talent in this field in May 2006, with the expectation that the electroacoustics industry would become an important industry in Taiwan. In August 2007, the Graduate Program in Electro-Acoustics was set up by Feng Chia University. In September 2008, Merry Electro-acoustic Laboratory was established with ISO 3745 and ISO 7779 standards. • Purpose Cultivate talent in electro-acoustics to satisfy industry needs. ü Fit Taiwan’s policy of developing electro-acoustic science. ü
