• • • Director & Co-Director o facilitating the show production Co-Director o responsible for managing the committees' tasks o assist the director with student evaluations The co-coordinator is directly responsible for Category Intermissions, the Luncheon, the Silent Auction and the Vendor Show.

Show Coordinator Coordinates the overall show appearance This includes props showroom layout decor • • • The show manager works directly with the venue management and the lights/sound producer the day of the event.

Model Coordinator Works directly with the models to create a powerful presentation The Coordinator interviews and appoint models trains the models schedules models for fittings assigns outfit categories • • works directly with the commentators and music manager

• • • Music Manager Download Edit Mix music selections for the show Produces CD's for practices and the show.

Video & Photography Manager • • trains photography and video staff coordinates equipment, location, and staff assignments the day of the show and through the production process. At the end of the show a memory book and DVD will be created. • • The manager is in charge of DVD sales before and during the show. Distribution of the final DVD product

• • Outfit Coordinator Works directly with the models and the stores to ensure that outfits are correctly represented by each model. The coordinator arranges the photography shoot for each model and outfit.

Hair and Make-up Coordinator • • Set up the hair stylists Set up make-up artists that will be available to assist the girls before the show.

• • Publicity Manager school billboards, marquees, newspaper, radio, TV, and community advertising through ads, flyers, press releases, and psa's. This department creates the media kits to be distributed to potential stores. This position will also be responsible for making sure that all thank you's are sent out in a timely manager.

Tickets & Programs Manager • coordinates with their committee to create the show program and tickets. The manager will be responsible for making sure there are enough programs created for the audience and for distribution the day of the show. Tickets will need to be created, distributed to students, tracked and accounted for. Ticket manager will coordinate ticket collections and sales before and during the show.

• • Backstage Manager coordinates how things will work backstage during meetings and the day of the show. Backstage staff is responsible for meeting attendance and reminders. The manager is responsible for all participants to have something to do during meetings, as well as prior/during/after the show. This person is responsible for picking up flowers prior to the show.

Inventory Manager responsible for scheduling model fittings in conjunction with the Modeling Manager inventory check-out/ check-in organizing the clothes for the models coordinating with the commentators prior to the show. • •

Fundraising Coordinator responsible for working with their committee to raise the donations needed for the Silent Auction setting up vendors booths the day of the show distribution of donation items after show correspondence The manager is the sole person in the fundraising committee responsible for communicating with the local vendors. The committee assists in developing necessary request letters, faxing, emails, and data collection • •

• Show Commentator orally presents the fashion show Commentators creates their script and practice prior to the show. Commentators works with models to gather information to share with the audience and works with the stores to gather the information needed to market their apparel professionally.

• • • Assignment Get in small groups of 3 - 4 people Pick two positions out of the hat on the teacher's desk Each group has 15 minutes to work together to create one short skit that identifies each of these positions, one skit per position. Use props if necessary Use "position" name tags on characters that are not the position you are demonstrating

• • • Skit Presentations After 15 minutes, each group will alternate to show their skits. As each skit is being presented, each student will write down on a piece of paper their guess of what position is being described. After each skit is complete, the group will state their position and describe the tasks required for this position.
