To explore how to prepare farm accounts, from sample questions. � To examine reasons for preparing farm accounts. � To explore how to write a report of a Farm Account. � 3

� For students to understand how to prepare farm accounts. � To explain reasons farm accounts are assembled. � To identify the different record books, each parts of the questions need. 4

� From previous chapters students should understand the analysed cash book, � Students should also link this chapter with their prior knowledge through chapter on income statements and balance sheets, �A student, may have a farming background. 5

�I will set up a quiz, to help students draw on prior knowledge of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet. 6

�I will then prepare a farm account question with use of a projector and white board, for every student will be able to visually see. � I will then list the reasons on why farm accounts are needed. � Finally I will prepare a report. � To ensure every student understands, I will prepare a question by handing out each student a cheque and a receipt and while completing a question I will ask each student where their cheque/receipt goes 8

I will question each student on what they’ve learnt. If any student is unclear I will revise the topic in the next class. 9
