Family was always one of the most important people’s values. It’s not surprise, because all uf us are connected with family. From our childhood to our old ages. So theme of family traditions, family holidays is very actual. My project is about families of Russia and Great Britain. I will try to tell you about the main traditions, structures of families.

Family as a value We can talk about importance of family only if we see the place, that is devoted for it by people among all values. Changes in statistics There are some changes in family statistics. They are characteristic for Russia and also for Great Britain. We can see decreas of marriages strength and increase of unofficial marriages. Also there are decrease of natality and increase of irregular children quantity. Scientists call these changes «Second Demographic Transition» . They started talking about the most importantg family mutations. There is even a specific system of these changes.
