What’s New CBT PBT Assessment Services Application • This new application (formerly PBT app) allows principals to designate the school assessment coordinator and it is also used by the school assessment coordinator to securely order paperbased accommodations under “PBT Accommodations” link for eligible students who have an IEP or 504 plan. o The link to the “Assessment Services” application is found on the Apps/Services/Sites tab of the employee portal. o Access to this application (WPBS-PBA SCHOOLS) should be assigned to the designated school assessment coordinator via QUAD-A. o The application also provides a cumulative listing of all supplemental orders placed. 8

S. , and applies to anyone involved in the administration of a statewide assessment. • The rule prohibits activities that may threaten the integrity of the test. • See Appendix D of the manual for the full text of the Florida Test Security Statute and State Board of Education Rule. • Inappropriate actions by school or district personnel can result in student or classroom invalidations, loss of teaching certification, and/or involvement of law enforcement. 24

Secure materials must never remain in classrooms or be removed from the school’s campus overnight. • For all FSA assessments, sessions must be completed in the designated order. – For example, Session 1 must be completed before Session 2. – Two-session tests must be administered over two days. – Any students absent for a session may not participate in the next session until they have completed the session that they missed. • For the purposes of make-up test administrations only, the FSA ELA Writing Retake may be administered after students have completed the FSA ELA Reading Retake. 83

Make copies of the administration records and file the copies and return the originals in the DAC-AR box according to the instructions in the Friendly Reminders. 3. Verify each test and answer book has a Pre. ID label affixed. 4. Inspect test and answer books for stray marks on the front and back covers only. 5. Verify the DNS bubbles were not marked by mistake. 6. Verify the return of defective tests, see page 19 -20 in manual. 7. Verify the preid labels are correct on any Special Program documents, if applicable. 84
