Faith makes us sure of what we hope

信就是所望之事的實底, 是未見之事的確據. Faith makes us sure of what we hope for and gives us proof of what we cannot see. (Heb 來 11: 1) 甚麼是信心?

FAITH without WORK = DEAD 沒有行為的信心是死的! (2: 17, 20, 26)

Purpose of James 雅各寫信的目的 *安慰在受患難中的信徒 comforting the afflicted *教導不可效法世界, 要分別為聖 encouraging for godly living

(14)我的弟兄們, 若有人說自己有信心, 卻沒有行為, 有 甚麼益處呢? 這信心能救他嗎? My brothers and sisters, what good is it for people to say that they have faith if their actions do not prove it? (17)這樣, 信心若沒有行為就是死的. Can that faith save them? So it is with faith: if it is alone and includes no actions, then it is dead. (20)虛浮的人哪, 你願意知道沒有行為的信心是死的嗎 ? You fool! Do you want to be shown that faith without actions is useless? (26)身體沒有靈魂是死的, 信心沒有行為也是死的. So then, as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without actions is dead.

(雅各書 James 2: 18) 必有人說：「你有信心，我有行為； 你將你沒有行為的信心指給我看， 我便藉著我的行為，將我的信心指 給你看。」 But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds. " Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. .

可見信心是與他的行為並行, 而且信心因 著行為才得成全. Can't you see? His faith and his actions worked together; his faith was made perfect through his actions. (James 雅各書 2: 22)
