Reading • Read a minimum of 24 pages at home each week. • Additional

Reading • Read a minimum of 24 pages at home each week. • Additional portions of text will be covered in class—students will be notified in advance when they need to bring in their books. • The F 451* needs to be read by Thursday, December 15 th. • There will be an open-book / open post-it test on Friday, December 16 th.

Journal Entries • 2 journal entries per week. • Students have received their Reader

Journal Entries • 2 journal entries per week. • Students have received their Reader Response Journal Prompts. • A different prompt is needed for each entry. • Prompts need to be completed in the composition notebook with at least 10 well-developed sentences and a quote from the book. • Each entry is worth 5 points. • I will look for an understanding of the content, creativity, at least one quote with at least 10 sentences--and no more than 16 sentences. • Composition books / prompts will be needed for the weekly book chats.
