Finding Factors In order to find all of the factors of a number you need to go through all of the numbers that can be multiplied together to make that number. Our example number 10 has 4 factors. . . 1, 2, 5 and 10 because. . . 1 x 10 = 10 2 x 5 = 10 It has 4 factors!
