FACILITIES UPDATE March 10, 2021

Orcutt Union School District Facilities Update MEARSURE G BOND PROJECTS: Orcutt JHS Administration Building and Parking Lot Expansion Ø Project was approved by the Board at the February 10, 2021 Board Meeting. Construction will start in April, and estimated project completion will be August 10, 2021. Joe Nightingale Administration Building and Playground Renovation Ø The project is out for bid. Bids will be opened on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. The project will be brought to the Board on April 13, 2021 for award of bid. Construction will start the last week in April, and estimated project completion will be August 10, 2021. Olga Reed Classroom Modernization Ø The project will be done in phases, due to the amount of work and timing. The first phase will be conduit work, and will be done in the summer of 2021. Science Classroom Modernization at Orcutt JHS and Lakeview JHS Ø Drawings are in the first stage for two science classrooms at each Junior High, depending on the amount of work. DSA submission to be determined. OAHS Gym, Multi-Purpose Room and Parking Lot Modernization Ø Drawings are in the first stage. DSA submission to be determined. Anticipated bid date would be in the Fall of 2021. Orcutt Academy High School Science Classroom Ø Work on updating the science classrooms at Orcutt Academy High School. Plans still to be determined.

NON-Bond Projects Ø Currently working on repair and replacement of playground equipment at elementary school sites. Ø Continue to complete the next phase of school site paint projects. Pine Grove, and Patterson Road are next on the list, for the summer of 2021. Ralph Dunlap and Joe Nightingale will be the summer of 2022 and Orcutt Academy and Olga Reed will be the summer of 2023. Casmalia and District Office Complex will be fit into the rotation as well. Ø Address ceiling tiles across the district Ø Roofing improvements for old and aging roofs Ø Asphalt repairs where needed
