When performing an Audit of existing inventory that already has a barcode label from STS or the ASN (Advance Shipment Notification) label, it only takes two scans with the Mobile Computer. First, you scan the barcode of the line item on the “Material In Stock” report. Second, scan the barcode on the raw material label. It’s really that simple! No more writing down information that can’t be read later in the office. Fab. Suite / STS Inventory Modules - 12
If performing an Audit of inventory that has never been labeled, the STS application can automatically print a barcode label that can be applied for use during future Audits. Simply skip the ASN/Serial number prompt on the Mobile Computer and enter the number of pieces. This will print the appropriate number of labels that you can apply to the raw material. This same label will also be used during Material Movements and the Cutting process to relieve inventory. Fab. Suite / STS Inventory Modules - 13
At some point, you going to nest and cut the material. Using the Cutting List w/Barcodes report in Fab.
