The ACD 3000 This is a card reader that reads account codes and cards. It connects to a copier to charge for copies. It reads the stored value cards (CR 80 -Track. IV). Paper. Cut is not required. The KPE 3000 This is an encoder that used by administrators to add funds to the store-value card (CR 80 -Track. IV). This device will sit on the desk and does not require a stand or harness. The patron pays the administrator and value is programmed on the card with this encoder.

ACD 3180 Series These units are a card encoder and dispenser usually placed in the lobby/common area of an organization. Staff is not needed, except to load more cards into the machine. ACD 3180 -B: Bills Only ACD 3180 -CCB: Bills & Credit Cards ACD 3080 -B: Dispenser Only None of these devices accept coins. All of these devices require the 3000 PD stand.

Cashless

The Swiper Similar to the ACD 3000, the Swiper allows you to charge for copies. Instead of stored value cards for the ACD 3000, the Swiper accepts CREDIT CARDS (not stored value). These coin-ops can also be connected to a workstation for releasing print jobs. Prox Card Readers The technology of the card determines what card reader will pick up the frequency of the card. ACDI’s software support team offers testing of customer’s existing cards to match up with our card readers. ACDI’s inside sales team then notifies the customer of the results with compatible card readers quoted. If the customer does not have existing cards, ACDI can supply the customers to match a variety of card readers.
