Checklist for Extended Essay Title: analytical Title page: Include Subject area and word count Abstract: Question, thesis, scope of study and methodology and conclusion (less than 300 words, separated from extended essay) Contents page (this is where subtitles are helpful) Introduction: includes research question, thesis and organization of essay. Body: Organization matters. Discuss alternative perspectives. Paper should be analytical and not just descriptive.
