Copying a PDF into AHLTA • Once this image has been saved as a PDF, there are three options for copying it into AHLTA. All three options will copy the PDF into a format that you can paste into Add. Note. – Option 1 – Using PDF Converter Professional – Option 2 – Using MS Paint – Option 3 – Adobe Reader 6

Copying a PDF into AHLTA (Opt 1) Use the ‘Select Area’ tool to highlight the portion of the PDF you want to copy. This will copy this image to the clipboard. 8

Copying a PDF into AHLTA – Option 2: MS Paint While in MS One.

Copying a PDF into AHLTA – Option 2: MS Paint While in MS One. Note, Select ‘Alt’ and ‘Print Screen’ on your keyboard to copy the current image into memory. You can also use the Windows and ‘S’ buttons to copy this into memory. This will work on any image, not just a PDF Document. 9 Note: MS Paint creates the largest file size of the options given.

Copying a PDF into AHLTA – (Opt 2) 1. MS Paint will allow you to crop and resize the image prior to pasting it into AHLTA. Open up MS Paint and choose ‘Paste’ from the ‘Edit’ drop down, this will paste the image. 3. Drag the ‘Select’ window over the part of the image you would like to copy 4. Choose ‘Copy’ from the ‘Edit’ drop down, this will put the image into memory 10 2. Choose the ‘Select’ Icon from the MS Paint toolbar

Copying a PDF into AHLTA – Option 3: Adobe Reader 1. Like MS Paint, Adobe Reader will allow you to crop and resize the image prior to pasting it into AHLTA. Open the PDF using Adobe Reader. If this Adobe is your default PDF viewer you need only double click on the PDF file. 11 2. In Adobe Reader, click on the Snapshot button on the toolbar or click Tools, Select and Zoom, Snapshot Tool.
