Research Question The intent of this research is to examine the positive and negative aspects of transitioning young servicemen and women from full-time soldier to full-time student.

Why Care? • Retention of Student Veterans -Federal Grants to Schools -Production of highly skilled and educated alumni • Looking after those who for whatever their reasoning choose to put themselves at increased risk for our Nation’s agenda and security.
Method of Research • • Government and academic publications Electronic survey of student vets in the local area. • Possible autoethnography
