College Readiness �The ACT College Readiness Benchmarks are the minimum English, reading, mathematics, and science assessment scores required for students to have a 50% chance of obtaining a B or higher or about a 75% chance of obtaining a C or higher in the corresponding credit-bearing college course.
Estimated Scores �The EXPLORE will provide an estimated PLAN composite score range �The PLAN will provide an estimated ACT composite score range �This range is accurate about 75% of the time �Helpful for college planning
Answer Key �On the back of the results is the answer key for the test �Students are given their test booklets so they can look at the questions they answered incorrectly �If a student has an “o” for an answer it means they omitted the question (did the student run out of time? ) �Suggestions for improving skills are provided
Interest Inventory �On both the EXPLORE and the PLAN students completed an interest inventory (they answered like, indifferent or dislike to about 70 questions). �The World-of-Work Map is shaded to show the career areas that match your child’s interest. �The World-of-Work Map is based on four basic work tasks: people, data, things, & ideas �Further exploration can be done at �www. explorestudent. org �www. planstudent. org
