EXPERIENCING GOD HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD
A God Who Speaks Revelation 3: 20, 22 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. ”. . . ”He who has an ear, let Him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. ”
A God Who Speaks to His People John 10: 27 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
The Heart of the God Who Speaks John 10: 11 -15 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. 12 But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them.
13 The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. 15 As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep
1 Peter 2: 24 -25 24 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed. ” 25 For “you were like sheep going astray, ” but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
John 10: 14 -15 14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. ” John 10: 3 b-4 He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.
Romans 8: 14 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Hearing the Voice of God: A Personal Experience “Hearing God is not a formula. Hearing God’s voice is a personal experience that is unique to every believer. It is based on our daily relationship with God Almighty. There is an element of faith, and we would caution against presumption. We will make a few mistakes just like you have a few scratches or few knocks on your vehicle. It’s a process of learning. Humbling ourselves we should pray the prayer of Samuel, “Speak Lord, your servants hear” (from Charisma, Ps Paul Ang)
