Expanded Forest Indicators Description: FIA units and clients want to re-evaluate the future implementation of the forest health indicator program. The AB is conducting an audit of existing ecosystem indicators, identifying shortcomings, assessing budget and logistic realities, and developing potential options for meeting client needs.

Expanded Forest Indicators – Goals Develop a dynamic, flexible indicator program that is part of the core Phase 2 sampling design and can provide fundamental, strategic-level information about forest health. Come to an agreement on a national base for each indicator.
