Injection molded plastic cabinets are thin, break easily, and degrade in sunlight. Rotomolded cabinets are 4 x thicker for excellent audio quality, meet Mil. Spe 810 F, UV stable, highly impact resistant. Wood cabinets with weatherproof coatings fail due to thermal cycling, expansion and contraction - and joints fail under stress. Rotomolded cabinets are pigmented through the wall, are one-piece, and retain integrity despite extreme thermal cycling.

Stainless steel, nylon mesh, and reticulated foam with hydrophobic treatment. Self-draining cabinet design lets condensation exit no matter the loudspeaker orientation. Technomad drivers are weatherized at the component level. Spiders and surrounds of all Technomad cone drivers are specially treated to resist water damage, and our highfrequency drivers are mechanically and chemically protected also. Crossovers and internal electronics are sealed, and are totally unaffected by moisture. Anti-fungal treatments protect the cabinet inside, killing mold & other sources of damage. Nothing comes close to the performance and reliability of Technomad.
