Mock the week Mock the Week is a British topical celebrity Panel, hosted by Dara O Brien. The game is influenced by improvised topical stand-up comedy, with several rounds requiring players to deliver answers on unexpected subjects on the spur of the moment. It is made by independent production company Angst Productions and made its debut on BBC Two on 5 June 2005. The program is currently airing a ninth series which started on 17 June 2010. Dara O Briein Having conquered his native Ireland, first as a stand-up and then on television hosting RTE's The Panel, Dara took on the world, and won. He rightly has the reputation of one of the best stand-up comedians around and has performed sell-out shows everywhere from London to Edinburgh, New York to Montreal and Dubai to Sydney. Now this mathematics and mathematical physics graduate is turning his lightning fast wit and incredible charm to television. From memorable performances on Have I Got News To You, Never Mind The Buzz cocks and Q. I. , Dara has seamlessly graduated to hosting Mock The Week and Turn Back Time and starring with Griff Rhys Jones and Rory Mc. Grath in Three Men In A Boat.

Hugh Dennis Early in his career, Hugh lent his voice to a number of the Spitting Image puppets and worked with Steve Punt, his long standing comedy partner and fellow Cambridge footlights graduate, on Jasper Carrott's TV shows. The pair then formed half of The Mary Whitehouse Experience (with David Baddiel and Rob Newman) and the rest, as they say, came later. After four seasons on BBC Radio 1, the show transferred to television and was a mega hit - comedy had become the new rock'n'roll. Andy is an award-winning stand-up who has appeared not just throughout Britain but across the globe and is also a gifted comedy writer who has provided material for, amongst others, Spitting Image, Smith & Jones and Lenny Henry.

�Russell Howard Bristol-based Russell is a rising comedy star. He has made a name for himself as a terrific stand-up as far afield as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where he was nominated for the prestigious Perrier Comedy Award and the Montreal Just For Laughs comedy festival. Russell is an experienced radio performer and now presents BBC Radio 6 music's Sunday morning show.

Frankie Boyle After more than ten years as an increasingly successful stand-up and comedy writer, Frankie has made an indelible impression on television audiences. Having appeared on BBC Scotland's Live Floor Show (which incidentally was hosted by our very own Dara O'Briain), Frankie became a regular on Mock The Week where his razor sharp comedy leaves everyone laughing and occasionally wincing. He has since appeared on 8 Out Of 10 Cats, They Think It's All Over and The Law Of The Playground and is currently writing and developing two new shows for Channel 4.

Blanc portrays Joey Tribbiani, a struggling actor and food lover who becomes famous for his role on Days of our Lives as Dr. Drake Ramoray. Joey is a womanizer with many short-term girlfriends throughout the series, and develops a crush on Rachel in season eight. Matthew Perry portrays Chandler Bing, an executive in statistical analysis and data reconfiguration for a large multinational corporation. Chandler quits his job and becomes a junior copywriter at an advertising agency during season nine. Chandler is known for his sarcastic sense of humor and bad womanizing. Chandler marries Monica in season seven. David Schwimmer portrays Ross Geller, Monica Geller's older brother, a paleontologist working at a museum of prehistoric history, and later a professor of paleontology at New York University. Ross is involved in an on-againoff-again relationship with Rachel throughout the series. Ross has three failed marriages during the series: Rachel, Emily, and Carol, a lesbian who is also the mother of his son, Ben (Cole Sprouse).
