Civics & political science. Origin from greek period of time. Civics i. e. (city-state) Citezen & society. It came from the word “polis”. In a modern period of time we can make sense in broader term of city-state in nationstate.

If we talk about the evolution & growth of political science, first we should that this is the interdisciplinary approach which is come from social science. Political science is a part of social science.

Meaning of social science. Social science is a generic term which means the scientific study of a man. If we talk about political science it concerns with the political system in that perspective we talk about state, society, citizens, &law & order. Aristotle first talk about “politics” in political science. Aristole is the father of political science. His famous quote “human is social animal. ” Nowdays in our current political order we deeply concerns with that “human is a political animal.

Conclusion If we want to know & understand the term “political science” we can with power & its relation with society. Finally we can say that it is a struggle for power. We should make balance over the society. Power concerns with balance of power. which is stoped dictatorship.
