The Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel • The Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel is comprised of 615 rooms with 82 suites. The Hotel has 27 meeting rooms with 35, 377 sq. ft. of meeting space on 3 levels. There are 2 Security Officers working each shift 24/7 all certified in CPR & First Aid. • In case of an emergency e. g. Fire, Natural Disaster or Bomb/Terrorist attacks, the hotel is equipped with a PA system and you will be given instructions on what actions need to be taken at that time. • All elevators will descend to the lobby level to avoid elevator entrapments and all guests are encouraged to use the stairwells. To prohibit any confusion behind each guestroom door is an emergency evacuation map advising you of your current location and how to reach the nearest exits. • All floors are clearly marked with exit signs. The Hotel is also equipped with a SIMPLEX Fire Emergency System that is monitored 24/7 by the staff and a security monitoring company offsite by the name of STANLEY.

Events Safety And Security • During an emergency situation be it urgent or minor you are asked to notify hotel staff so that we may assist you as well as your group immediately without hesitation. • The Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel Security Team is trained and equipped to handle all emergency situations that might arise on property. • Along with Security you will find Event Services staff as well as Event Guest Concierge associates wearing Red Jackets walking the Ballroom and Meeting space floor that are equipped with radios and can call for assistance at any time. • In the case of a safety and security issue or if anyone feels that their personal safety is in question immediately notify hotel staff and they will alert the Security Team. • If the issue is beyond the spectrum of the Security Teams abilities the Arlington County Police Departments 2 nd District will be notified immediately.

ADC Blood Pressure Monitor • The Blood Pressure device we have at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel is the ADC Digital Monitor. • This portable device automatically measures blood pressure and records the information continuously. • This device is used by placing the sleeve onto the patients arm and simply hitting the start button.

Emergency Procedure • In the case of a needed evacuation, we ask that all guests meet at 1600 South Eads Street directly across the street from the hotels main entrance. Once we know everyone is present and accounted for we will proceed to the Crystal City Marriott Hotel where rooms will be set up with emergency supplies along with first aid stations for any injuries that might require medical attention. • The Hotel maintains a storage area that is stocked with pandemic supplies if needed along with flashlights, glow sticks and lanterns.
