Annotate your advertisement, to show it follows the conventions of advertising; include logo, brand identity and visual connotations MY POSTER The poster below is showing different angle of the boots Print Screen or place the image of your advert here. showing the audience how it looks. The colours suggests there is many to chose from. This is similar to my poster as it clearly Indicates what colour the boots are available in. In my poster you can clearly detect that the brand is Nike. however on the poster below the logo is not placed but we can only see it on the boots but not the full logo. My poster has a link to the Nike website however the comparison advert has no link so the audience might not be able to find out more information about the boots COMPARISON ADVERT My poster includes the price indicating To the audience/customer the value of the boots. However on the other poster the is price is not indicated so the audience won’t be indicated on how much the boot is worth.

Question 1: How high is the standard of the production? Does the advert have a high quality to it? Does it accurately look like a advertisement ? How have you manipulated your images? My advert is of a high quality because the Audience can clearly see the product and the Information. My poster also has key information in big Writing so the audience can clearly see everything on The magazine advert. Then advert clearly shows everything that is expected like the slogan, price, logo etc. Question 2: How does the advert adhere to the codes and conventions of advertising? Have the group included all key elements such as a logo, slogan, brand identity, product images or production information? My poster has the slogan clearly visible to the audience and the logo is well placed in a position where everyone is capable of seeing. the product image is placed in a way that the people can see the product easily and placed in the middle so it catches the eye of the audience quickly/fast. The three words (skill, powerfull, waterproof) we can connatate the product will last for long. INSERT YOUR YOU ADVERT HERE Question 3: What is your brand identity when looking at your advertisement? What connotations does your poster convey? My poster also clearly indicates the boots is available in different colours suggesting you can buy the colour of your choice. The poster also has a colourful background rather then a dull one and this makes the product stand out well what the audience/ we can connatate from this is that it’s a really valuable product.

From the brand Nike we can connatate that the brand is really good and they produces products that last for a long time. The Colour blue connatates authority this can be useful as if you wear the boots you can take charge of the game and gives you the power to win football matches.
