European Resuscitation Council BAGGRUND • Der er omkring 700, 000 personer der får hjertestop om året i Europa • Kun 5 -10 % af disse personer er genoplivet ved ankomst til hospitalet • HLR givet af førstehjælper før ambulancens ankomst har vital betydning for overlevelse • Tidlig HLR og hurtig defibrillering (inden 1 -2 minutter) kan resulterer i > 60 % overlevelse
