ERC – Reference Protocol • Current Issue under consideration • M 111 SL Reference Frequency – CEC method states run a reference ‘every 15 tests’ – Open to interpretation? 14 or 15 candidates? – History shows inconsistencies – Need QMWG feedback before contacting lab, if necessary ATC
ERC – Account Management • User Access – Has been restructured – Individual ID – Access given to each user as appropriate • Sponsor, Lab, Reference, QMWG, 646 LA, etc. – No more Group Ids / passwords – Labs no longer need additional sponsor id ATC
ERC – ATC Data Requests • April Data Request – 501 LA • Bore Polish, Oil Consumption – 646 LA • Outlet & Inlet Cam Wear, Bore Polish, Cylinder Liner Wear • Re-issue in May – Max Bore Polish for 646 LA – Piston Merits for 501 LA, though later withheld ATC
ERC – Compliance • ATC User Concern – Letter of Intent – Possible ambiguity in wording – Refer to Co. P, Forms B. 1 and C. 1 ATC
ERC - Activity Levels • Fax vs. Online – Jan. ’ 08: 52% Fax – June ’ 08: 5% Fax – July - Nov. ’ 08: 3. 5% Fax – 2009: 1. 9 % • Future? – Expect faxes to be almost zero. ATC
ERC – Website Security • User Ids – Accounts and permissions authorized manually – Set expiration after specified time period of inactivity – 6 months? – Locked out with unsuccessful login attempts – Can be tied to computer IP address • Currently studying usage patterns • Can be customized for each account ATC
