EN European Commission Flexibility concerning the location Regional Policy of the operations (1/2) 9/10/2020 • Expenditures paid for the implementation of operations located on the territory of third countries (Art 22(3) ERDF): • for cross-border and trans-national cooperation • on condition that the operations benefit to EU Regions • ceiling: 10% of the ERDF contribution to the OP • for those expenditure, the responsibility lies on the EU lead beneficiary and certifying authority 7
