Europe Region Garrison – Site Concept q Goal: Reduce the Cost of Stationing U. S. Forces in Europe v The Region ASG/ BSB C 2 structure dates back to the 80 s / does not fit into today’s fiscal reality v We maintain too many garrisons / sites (overhead) for the number of units/personnel stationed in Europe v A number of past closures / stationing actions did not achieve max savings i. e.
