The European Children’s Network Policy and Advocacy Achievements: § EURONET helped to ensure a strong voice for children’s rights NGOs in the second European Forum on the Rights of the Child § EURONET seat in Steering Group of the European Forum § EURONET proposals for amendments were included in the European Parliament Resolution on a European Children’s Rights Strategy § EURONET further established strategic partnerships with children’s rights NGOs in the Child Rights Action Group § Several EURONET members will participate in the first Fundamental Rights Agency Platform meeting
The European Children’s Network Policy and Advocacy Achievements: § EURONET’s expert members contributed to the child rights indicators study commissioned by the EU Fundamental Rights Agency § EURONET contributed successfully to European Parliament report on Fundamental Rights in the EU § EURONET made recommendations on children’s rights in relation to the EU Budget Review § EURONET amendments linking violence against children and child poverty were successfully included in EP report § EURONET provided an information and training day on EU Presidencies for members and NGOs
