WHY ? We identify, in the different countries from the Eurasian Region, a real interest for Dressage Sport and the motivation is real. Ø Many riders wants to compete. Ø Many horses are well adapted for the discipline. Ø The Equestrian culture is important and the NFs want to help the development. Unfortunately, the important distances between each countries and the small community currently existing are actually major “brakes”. Ø Horse transportation in order to compete requires to engage important expenses and time. Ø The very low number of Dressage competitions Ø The small number of Judges Ø The lack of Specialized Coaches All these realities are constraints to the development of Dressage. 3

HOW ? (method) We can follow theoretical plan (ref: “How to develop an FEI Discipline”), but more specifically, we can follow an I. Q. P plan which consists of: Identify - Qualify - Prepare 5

Step 1: IDENTIFY Objective Organise a Talent Identification session in each country from Eurasia,

Step 1: IDENTIFY Objective Organise a Talent Identification session in each country from Eurasia, to INSPIRE, MOTIVATE and IDENTIFY riders from Children, Juniors, Young Riders and Seniors’ categories. How FEI Solidarity will provide a Dressage Expert (International Coach with Talent Identification* methodology) who will use specific tools to conduct a 3 days Technical Workshop in each of the countries taking part in the project. The Expert will be Russian/English speaking and following the same program in all the countries. Timeline - During the FIRST semester of 2021 6

Step 2: QUALIFY Objective Develop a national Competitions’ programme and calendar adapted and achievable

Step 2: QUALIFY Objective Develop a national Competitions’ programme and calendar adapted and achievable for the riders IDENTIFIED; And QUALIFY the National Teams who will participate at the EURASIAN Dressage Championships. How Each NF taking part in the project must commit to organise 3 Dressage Competitions: 2 x National Competitions + the FEI Dressage World Challenge Competition* with all levels: • FEI Children Tests • FEI Junior Tests • FEI St Georges Test • FEI Intermediate 1 Test 7

And…. . Use these Competitions to QUALIFY National Team and Individuals, per age category,

And…. . Use these Competitions to QUALIFY National Team and Individuals, per age category, to compete at the EURASIAN Dressage Championships. Ø All Athletes IDENTIFIED during the first phase must take part in all 3 Competitions. Ø A ranking per age category (Children, Juniors, Young Riders and Seniors) will be established on the basis of the COMBINED results obtained over the 3 Competitions. Ø Both National Competitions results will have a lower Coefficient (1), and the FEI Dressage World Challenge results will have a greater Coefficient (2 or more). Ø Athletes must compete in the same tests in all 3 competitions in order for the rankings to be established. Timeline - During the SECOND semester of 2021 8

In order to respect the Age Categories and Classes of the FEI Dressage World

In order to respect the Age Categories and Classes of the FEI Dressage World Challenge, the competition will have to include National Classes to “cover” the age groups not considered in the WCHA-D. The following organisation format/schedule is suggested: Event # Test Category for Classification Age Group 1 FEI Children Team Test Challenge Youth 12 years old to 16 years old 2 FEI Children Team Test National Juniors 16+ 17 years old to 18 years old 3 FEI Children Individual Test Challenge Senior I* 16 years old and above 4 FEI Children Individual Test National Children + Juniors < 16 12 years old to 16 years old 5 FEI Junior Team Test Challenge Senior II* 16 years old and above 6 FEI Junior Individual Test National Juniors 16 years old to 18 years old 7 FEI Junior Individual Test National Young Riders 18 years old to 21 years old 8 FEI Prix St Georges Test Challenge PSG* 16 years old and above 9 FEI Intermediate I Test Challenge Inter I* 16 years old and above * Within the Challenge Category, have specific rankings per age group to determine Qualification. 9

*FEI Dressage World Challenge: • Consider having the same FEI Foreign Judge appointed to judge the FEI Dressage World Challenge in each country in order to insure a fair Regional Ranking, according to the level expected for the Championship. Per memory, the FEI Dressage World Challenge is a development tool which does not only provide opportunities for Athletes to compete, but also for National Judges and Coaches to gain experience. All NFs organising the Challenge Series should involve their National Judges. Ø Although only two officials are required (Foreign FEI Judge as PGJ + National or FEI Judge as Ground Jury Member), NFs should implicate more Judges by having them shadow. Ø NFs should include a video session after the competition to review the tests for the National Officials as well as for the Coaches. This is a great opportunity to gain experience along side a knowledgeable FEI Foreign Judge and improve there understanding and knowledge of the expected level of execution per category. 10

Step 3: PREPARE Objective Give ALL the Participants the same Training conditions to PREPARE

Step 3: PREPARE Objective Give ALL the Participants the same Training conditions to PREPARE for the EURASIAN DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIPS How By a PREPARATION CAMP, open to all the riders QUALIFIED through the FEI Dressage World Challenge, for all FEI age categories (Children, Juniors, Young Riders, Senior Small Tour) This Preparation Camp will include Competitions (CDIs) and Technical Training Sessions prior to the Eurasian Championships at Maxima Stables, Moscow (RUS). The Technical Training Sessions will be open to ALL Participants (National Head Coaches and Riders from each NF involved), to improve the global level and inspire Riders and Coaches. 11
