Leave, then Time • All staff will submit leave requests • Only BW staff will submit timesheets • For the Pilot Group, we are working on BW leave and time only (Monthly leave requests will start late 2010) • Both leave, then time, are routed to D E V and approved by supervisors O APPR separately • Leave requests load on to timesheet

Leave Request Process Employee Approved leave loads to timesheet Supervisor OR DENIED

Demonstration Scenario: Today is 9/20. Biweekly employee, Ms. Scarlet Ann Gray, submits a leave request for 9/17, then submits a timesheet for the week of 9/12. Steps: 1. Employee requests leave 2. Supervisor approves leave request 3. Leave request populates on timesheet 4. Employee submits timesheet 5. Supervisor approves timesheet 6. Information loads in to People. Soft and Employee is Paid

Critical Process Steps • Employees must: – Monitor status of leave requests/timesheet – Submit leave requests for current time period before timesheet – Submit timesheets by deadline • Supervisors must: – Monitor worklist – Approve leave requests for current time period first – Approve timesheets by deadline
