TIPS ON HOW TO RUN DU There a few areas to indicate the down payment is being borrowed. First on page 1 for the source of funds pull down menu, select SECURED BORROWED FUNDS. Next in the Declarations section of the 1003 (Section 8 “h” ) select YES for indicating the down payment is borrowed. Lastly, in the Housing Expense section you need to make sure to input the 2 nd information and terms so that it reflects a payment as this needs to be included in the Debt to Income ratio.
