■ ESSENTIAL SKILLS ATTENTION TO DETAIL & PROBLEM SOLVING Animation is the process of creating the illusion of motion, known as persistence of vision, by means of a rapid display of still images. CONCLUSION ■ To sequentially align objects in a manner necessary to create persistence of vision, you must use organizational skills. ■ In Flash, the stage is where you create objects which can be stored in the Library for reuse using Flash’s tools. ■ The timeline is then used to organize those objects using layers and frames. ■ Analytical thinking and problem solving skills are engaged to make the objects move in a cohesive fashion. ■ Time management skills are employed to complete tasks on time. ■ NOTE: All of these skills are used to facilitate learning!
