A Shared Vision for Technology Integration �Coordinate school and district planning, and involve all stakeholders �Yearly budgets plans for technology purchases and plan for sustainability �Continuing technology training for teachers to stay up-to -date �Connect technology to the curriculum
Standards and Curriculum Support �Technology should not be taught alone; it should be integrated in with the curriculum. �Technology and content-area standards should support one another. (Roblyer, M. D. , 2016, pg. 65)
Required Policies �Policies that ensure appropriate behavior, safety, equitable treatment, financial assistance, incentives, and accountability at all levels of integration: �Online use policies to decrease student use of inappropriate sites �Legal/ethical use policies to prevent hacking, viruses, and software/media privacy �Policies to ensure equitable access to and use of technology resources �Financial assistance, incentives, and accountability policies that support teachers in their effort to integrate technology
