Balancing work and home life can be challenging in today’s modern world because long hours at work often mean fewer hours spent at home. In homes where both mom and dad work, parents often feel stressed about finding enough time to spend with their children at the end of a long work day. Two working parents also creates added stress in families where multiple children often have multiple schedules throughout the workday. Based on this paragraph, can you guess what ideas I must further explain in my 2 nd and 3 rd paragraph? Keeping in mind that you are SYNTHESIZING the sources that you’ve covered…what connection must I make in these paragraphs? What stories have we read that I can use as evidence to support my opinion? In 2 nd paragraph: With two working parents, it tough to find enough hours at the end of the day to help kids with homework, make dinner, and spend family time together. “Double Daddy” Personal story (anecdote) In 3 rd paragraph: “Diary of a Mad Blender” ‘A Week Managing Every Spare Minute’
Restate your opinion in a fresh way In our busy lives today, its important that individual find partners that are complement them well. Having children can definitely add extra stress to our already hectic lives. In home with working parents, its important that both people work together to manage time and meet the needs of our busy lives and busy children. Offer In an idea or call of action addition to date nights, parents should schedule a once-amonth family outing or movie and popcorn night at home.
